ROMANIAN CITIZENS

Passport holders of Romania do not require a visa to enter Mexico for a period of up to 180 days if carrying out any unpaid activities. This includes tourism, volunteering, studying courses shorter than 6 months, transit and attending business meetings, conferences among others, as long as you are absolutely sure that no monetary earnings will be derived from your activities in Mexico.

To enter the country, visitors must fulfil the following requirements:

  • A valid Passport at the time of the intended date of entry to Mexico,
  • Hotel accommodation, accommodation contract covering the entire period of stay, or invitation letter (Invitation letter)
  • Return ticket,
  • Proof of financial means (international credit cards, bank statements or cash covering the entire period of stay).

Nota Bene: A properly completed Multiple Migratory Form (FMM). The FMM can be obtained from the airline or at the port of entry. Remember to keep the FMM in a safe place during your trip! You will be asked for it at your departure from Mexico.

The Mexican migratory authorities have the faculty to grant or deny the entry into Mexico if the visitor does not fully comply with the migratory regulations.
