Guidelines for Booking a Mexican Visa Appointment
Procedure for Appointment Scheduling:
1. Accessing the Portal: Visit the official website at citas.sre.gob.mx to initiate the appointment process.
2. Language Selection: Upon accessing the account creation page, select your preferred language from the options available at the top of the page, including English and French, amongst others.
3. Account Creation: Register by providing your full name exactly as it appears in your passport. This is crucial as appointments are non-transferable and must correspond precisely with the name on your travel documents.
Key Information:
1. Appointment Availability: Upon accessing the appointment interface, if you encounter a message indicating "no office found," this signifies that all appointments for the current month are fully booked.
2. Release of New Appointments: New appointment slots are typically released on the last working day of each month, commencing at approximately 5 P.M. Nigerian time.
3. Advance Registration: To enhance your chances of securing an appointment, we strongly recommend registering your account beforehand due to the limited availability of slots, which are often quickly filled.
4. Emergency Appointments: Please note that we do not offer emergency appointments. All appointments must be booked exclusively through the official appointment portal.
Special Instructions for Holders of a Número Único de Trámite (NUT) from the Mexican Immigration Authority:

2. Procedure: Along with the NUT, please include a scanned copy of the relevant document. Upon receipt, we will process your request and provide a scheduled appointment.
Once You Have Scheduled an Appointment:
1. On the day of your appointment: Bring a confirmation of your appointment to the Embassy.
2. Documents: Please visit Mexican visa requirements for non-remunerated activities or Student visa Requirements if that is your case.
