Investor Visa
Requirements

- A valid passport with a minimum validity left of six months and at least one blank page. It is also required to present passport copy of the page containing holder´s photograph and personal details.
- One passport size photograph with white background and visible facial traits (i.e. hair not covering the face).
If you are not a Romanian citizen, copy of valid proof that you are legally residing in Romania: visa, resident card, or passport with Romanian immigration entry stamps.
- Submit documentation that proves the investment made in Mexico, according to the situation applicable to your specific case:
- Deed or policy of the Mexican legal entity executed before a Public Notary, or a document duly certified by its governing body or competent official, stating that the foreign individual participates in the share capital of said Mexican legal entity, and that the amount of the investment actually paid for the foreign individual’s participation in the Mexican legal entity exceeds 45,850 UMA days (Unit of Measurement and Update) (approximately MXN 5,383,248 or EUR 261,345.00). This may be evidenced, by way of example but not limited to, through a share or equity purchase agreement, a contract for the transfer of assets or rights in favor of the Mexican legal entity, or a document issued by the latter certifying the amount contributed as participation in the share capital, in original; and
- A document proving ownership or title to movable property or fixed assets in favor of the foreign legal entity, used for economic or business purposes, with a value exceeding 45,850 UMA days (approximately MXN 5,383,548 or EUR 261,345.00), in original; or
- Documentation proving the development of economic or business activities within national territory, which may be evidenced, by way of example but not limited to, through contracts, service orders, invoices, receipts, business plans, licenses or permits, or a certificate issued by the Mexican Social Security Institute confirming that the foreign legal entity employs at least three workers, in original.
5. Payment of consular fees: check "Consular fees". The payment is in US Dollars, cash and the exact amount, payable to the Mexican Consulate. A receipt will be issued accordingly. The payment will NOT be refunded if your visa application is rejected.
Processing time: One hour after handing in the documentation, in a complete and satisfactory manner.

Notes:
- The personal presence of the applicant is mandatory for the biometric process and interview.
- The payment of consular fees is made for each visa application. The fee is non-refundable, even if the application is denied.
- The requirements shown above are the minimum requirements to apply for a visa. It is strongly advised that if you have further evidence to support your visa application, you carry it with you on the day of your appointment.
- Presenting the minimum requirements of the visa application does not mean that the visa will be approved. Further information might be requested by the Consular agent in charge of processing your application.
- If the documents were issued in a country other than Mexico, Romania, or the Republic of Moldova, they must be apostilled or legalized by the corresponding authority.
- The documents must be translated if they are in a language other than Spanish or English.
- We strongly advise NOT to make any travel arrangements until a decision on your visa has been made. The embassy will not take any responsibility for any plane tickets purchased before your visa has been approved.
- Having a Mexican visa gives the possibility to travel to the country, but the entry to Mexican territory is subject to the final decision of the Immigration and Health Authorities in the country.
