a) If "EXENTO" is shown, you DO NOT need a visa, as long as:

- The length of stay is less than 180 days and will not perform any paid activities

- The purpose of your trip is either: tourism, transit, business, internship, studies, technician or journalism

b) If "REQUIERE VISA" is shown, you will NEED a visa to enter Mexico.

■ The Embassy of Mexico reserves the right to ask for additional documents

■ Each application is individually examined and there is no guarantee that the visa will be issued

■ If the visa is denied, the Embassy has no responsibility for the expenses incurred

■ False statement, falsified documents, signatures or stamps, lead to an immediate rejection of the visa

■ It is not possible to waive any applicant from the consular interview in Bern

■ Having a valid Mexican visa DOES NOT guarantee automatic entry into Mexico. According to Article 43 (Immigration law), Article 60 (Immigration law’s regulation) and Article 13 (Guidelines), immigration officials in Mexico have the legal authority to reject a foreigner at the point of entry. If this happens, the Embassy has no responsibilities for the expenses incurred.

 Requirements:

 

   1)  Fill out the visa application form

2)    Valid Passport or Laissez Passer (at least six months from the date of entry.)

3)  One passport size photo in color taken less than 30 days before the date of application. The photo must be frontal, face and head uncovered, without glasses, blue or white background.

4)     Verbal note from the diplomatic representation or international organization requiring the visa and stating the purpose of the visit, intended day of entry and the length of stay of the diplomatic or governmental officer or member of international organization.

5)    There is no fee.

 Visa para portadores de pasaporte diplomático, oficial, de servicio o Laissez-Passer

Los portadores de pasaporte diplomático, oficial y de servicio de países con los que no se cuenta con un Acuerdo o Decisión Unilateral de supresión de visa consular o portadores de Laissez-Passer, deberán enviar a la Embajada la siguiente documentación:

1. Llenar la solicitud de visa

2. Pasaporte o Laissez Passer (vigente mínimo 6 meses a partir de la entrada a México).

3. Una fotografía tamaño pasaporte a color reciente (no más de 30 días), de frente, frente y cabeza despejada, sin lentes, sin accesorios en la cabeza, fondo color blanco.

4. Nota verbal de la Representación diplomática u Organismo Internacional en la que se haga constar los fines de internación a México, la fecha de entrada y la duración de la estancia en México.

5. La visa es gratuita.
