EXEMPTION FROM THE MEXICAN VISA.
Holders of any of the following valid documents are exempt from the requirement of a Mexican visa to travel for tourisim/business/transit/studies purposes without receiving remuneration in Mexico and for up to 180 days, regardless of the type of passport:
VISAS

Canada, Japan, United Kingdom, United States of America or Schengen visa. (work permits are not valid for the Mexican visa-free exemption) Example of Schengen visa: |
PERMANENT RESIDENCE CARDS (the word PERMANENT has to be written on the card, otherwise please refer to our visa section.) |
Canada, Japan, United Kingdom, United States of America or any of the Schengen countries. |
OTHERS |
- ABTC card issued by APEC. - Any nationality traveling by cruise entering as tourists for less than 24 hours in Mexican ports. - Foreign members of aircraft crew arriving to Mexico with a proper certificate. - Foreign members of the crew of the boat arriving to a Mexican port in international crossing with seaman’s book. If the crew member arrives by air to enlist in a ship delivered in a national port, he/she must present in addition to the sea book, a document that proves his/her enrollment, the data of the vessel departure and the Mexican port in which it is located. |
