VISA REQUIREMENTS TO ENTER MEXICO

1. Passport or identity and travel document that is valid and current. Jordanian nationals do require a visa.

2. A visa that has been legally issued and is currently valid, which must be applied for prior to entering Mexican territory, at any Mexican consular office abroad. 3. Or, where applicable, one of the following documents:

1. Document proving permanent residence in Canada, the United States of America, Japan, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, any of the countries that make up the Schengen Area, or the member countries of the Pacific Alliance, or
2. Valid and current visa of Canada, the United States of America, Japan, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, or any of the countries that make up the Schengen Area, or
3. APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) approved by Mexico, or
4. Seaman’s book, if a member of a maritime crew, or
5. Air crew member

Countries that belong to the Schengen Area: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Slovenia, Spain, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Romania, Sweden, and Switzerland.

Pacific Alliance countries: Chile, Colombia, and Peru, in addition to Mexico.

4. Likewise, if required, present supporting documentary evidence regarding the purpose of your trip, such as:

1. Verifying document regarding lodging (reservation and confirmation), in order to corroborate the domicile and length of stay in Mexican national territory.
2. Return tickets (means of transport for departure), according to the days declared of your stay in Mexico.
3. Tour tickets and itinerary of activities to be carried out in Mexican national territory.
4. Means of subsistence during your stay in the country.
5. Place of habitual residence or origin.
6. Activities to which you are dedicated in your country or place of origin.
7. Additional information and personal data as required.
8. Where applicable, letter of invitation from the company, institution, or person(s) inviting you, which is suggested to include the following:

• Purpose of the visit
• Biographical data of the invited people,
• Dates of entry and exit from the country (travel itinerary),
• Address of the place where they will stay,
• Name, email address, copy of identification, and contact number of the person who is in Mexican national territory (since, in case of doubt, the migration authority will verify the information through the telephone number provided).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1. The authorized period of stay granted by the migration authority may be from 1 to 180 days, according to what is declared and corroborated during the migration control procedure.
2. This authorized period must be complied with in time and form.
3. The entry requirements are the same as those that must be presented at all international airports in the country.
4. Entry into national territory, in some cases, may take more time. The speed of attention at the migration inspection filter will depend on passengers immediately presenting the information that proves the purpose of their trip.
