Following the success of the ID-entity exhibition presented September 12 – October 18, 2008 at Transformer Gallery and the Mexican Cultural Institute in Washington, D.C., which highlighted the work of ten Mexico City-based emerging artists, Give & Take/Da y Toma at Garash Galeria, based in Mexico City, presented the work of five DC-based emerging artists during the months of July and August 2009.
On June 18th, 2009, the Ambassador of Mexico and Mrs. Veronica Valencia-Sarukhan hosted the artists, curators, gallery board members and friends at the Residence of the Embassy of Mexico to celebrate the partnership and exchange between the Mexican and the Washingtonian galleries and artists.
