Mexico Strengthens Support for Its Community in the United Kingdom with the Implementation of a Financial Advisory Desk
London, United Kingdom. — On April 28, the Ambassador of Mexico to the United Kingdom, Alejandro Gertz Manero, and the President of the Mexican Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain (Mexican Chamber of Commerce, MexCC), Katya Torres de la Rocha, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to implement the Financial Advisory Desk (Ventanilla de Asesoría Financiera, VAF) in the United Kingdom, an initiative aimed at strengthening support services for the Mexican community residing in the country.
As of August 3, 2026, the VAF is available as a digital tool that provides specialized guidance to Mexican nationals living in the United Kingdom who require information, advice, and resources to protect, manage, and strengthen their assets both in Mexico and in the United Kingdom.
The VAF offers guidance on topics such as financial education, savings, credit, estate planning, entrepreneurship, and other services designed to promote financial inclusion and the economic well-being of Mexicans living abroad.
