MEXICAN RECOGNIZED AS YOUNG DIPLOMAT OF THE YEAR
LONDON, UK, April 14, 2014. - Today Susana Garduño Arana, second secretary of the Embassy of Mexico, who is responsible for multilateral issues and coordinating the representation of our country before international organizations in the UK, was recognized as Young Diplomat of the Year by DIPLOMAT Magazine.
In its Annual Awards Ceremony, the editor of the specialized publication in foreign affairs, Venetia van De Blocq Kuffeler, recalled that Garduño Arana served as Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Mexico in Haiti as her first assignment, and obtained the highest number of votes for this category based on her experience and example for the youth, through her work.
The ceremony for the sixth consecutive year gathered Heads of Missions, diplomats, politicians and journalists in this city, in addition to various Mexican Government representatives.
