LONDON, United Kingdom, 14th October 2015.- The Director General of Mexican oil company PEMEX, Emilio Lozoya Austin, led the second edition of the ‘PEMEX Investor Day’ where he explained to British representatives of this industry the internal transformation process and the opportunities presented by this State Production Company (EPE, for its acronym in Spanish).

In the event held on 6th October 2015, Lozoya Austin gave a lecture entitled "Moving forward with the internal transformation process and evaluating the opportunities presented by the new framework" within which he explained graphically PEMEX’s challenge to look beyond the current environment and continue to invest, and increase the competitiveness of the EPE worldwide, which main objective is to become a healthy company.

In front of an audience of dozens of businessmen and representatives of various institutions, the Director-General, accompanied by the deputy directors of PEMEX, explained that the Energy Reform driven by the government of President Enrique Peña Nieto not only opens the door to private capital and technology; which will increase the production of energy in a transparent, efficient, competitive and sustainable manner, but it will also accelerate economic growth and development in Mexico for years.

PEMEX representatives expressed that amid the noise blaring in this low-price environment or new worries over slowing global growth, the performance of PEMEX will not be to affected, due to the time of investment and associations are long-term periods.

During a work visit to the capital city of the UK of the Great Britain, Lozoya Austin met with representatives of the leading British companies and institutions interested in knowing details of legal steps for its possible involvement in the processes of extraction of oil and natural gas, as well as refining and fuel distribution.
