Wandsworth Council’s Pump House Gallery presents the group exhibition “We are having a little flirt”, curated by Paula Zambrano with the partition of the Mexican artist Mónica Espinosa.

The exhibition, by four international artists (Adam Christensen, Erica Scourti, Anneke Kampman, Mónica Espinosa and co-curated by Ned McConnell) examines the everyday interactions and perspectives on the uncertainty of attraction and desire, whilst considering the shifting human interaction in the digital age.

Works ranging from installation, video and performance, test the limits of the artists' relationships with friends, partners, and even their audiences.

Monica Espinosa presents the Sculptural installation "Secretos": a ladder and a bucket filled with water that contains a speaker, reproduces recordings of the artist's secrets, but, as the liquid absorbs and muffles the sound, the viewer must move closer to try and hear them. This unique work teases the audience, inviting them to test the limits of their curiosity.

Pump House Gallery is a contemporary exhibition space housed in a distinctive four story Grade ll* listed Victorian tower by the lake in Battersea Park.

The gallery presents an interesting program of contemporary visual art throughout the year, including important exhibitions from international artists. Pump House Gallery is operated by Enable Leisure & Culture on behalf of Wandsworth Council.
