Since the very early days of film, musicians from across Latin America have been instrumental in creating the sound of Hollywood. Sonorama, is a live concert, accompanied by film, which celebrates the Latino legacy in the mecca of the movies.

The production is created by Camilo Lara (Mexican Institute of Sound), whose own most recent work was the music for the Pixar’s animated film Coco, earning him great international recognition.

He is accompanied by guest vocalists Omar and Nina Miranda, as well as Hackney Colliery Band Horns among others. The show is an electronic reinvention of the "Golden Age" of Latin American composers in Hollywood.

Sonorama, was conceived by cultural critic and historian Josh Kun, author of The Tide Was Always High: The Music of Latin America in Los Angeles.

Mexrrissey will present its new live show, La Reina is Dead, a Mexican reinterpretation of The Smiths best album, “The Queen is Dead”.

The group began its meteoric rise in “La Linea” with a great concert at the Barbican in 2015. For the past three years, Mexrrissey has toured the world with their album No Manchester with several sold out shows (Manchester, Los Angeles, Sydney and Buenos Aires).

With new arrangements, new mariachi suits, new films and new swagger, La Reina is Dead opens a new chapter for the band and their reinterpretations of the legendary Morrisey.
