Born in Mexico City, Hector was trained at the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico and at the Hochschule für darstellende Kunst in Vienna. He won the Kammeroper Schloss Rheinberg International Singing Competition in 2011. Sandoval has twice sung the title role of Don Carlos at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow and has performed at some of the most important stages in the world including: Austria, Italy, Russia, the United States, Holland and Belgium.
