The Embassy of Mexico in association with Latino Life present a unique opportunity to see one of the best Mariachi bands in Mexico, the Mariachi of the Mexican Navy.

The prestigious 15 piece outfit will present a 'flashmob' style outdoor performance at Camden Stables Market on November 24th at 5 pm, followed by a free concert at the terrace of Gabeto restaurant.

Formed in 1989 by Captain Eduardo Navarro Graciano, Mariachi of the Mexican Navy is one of Mexico's most prestigious Mariachi bands. Over the years, the band has received several awards for their performances, thanks to their quality, delivery and discipline.

From their first international performance in 1990 in the now extinct Soviet Union, the band has gone on to play all over the world including in Cuba, Chile, Guatemala, the US, Canada, Spain and China.

During the visit of Pope John Paul II to Mexico in 2002, the band participated in the farewell event from the Presidential Hangar and in 2006 the band performed again to Pope Francis. The Mariachi has accompanied great musicians, such as the Mexican tenor Fernando de la Mora or the great Mexican singer Chavela Vargas, and in 2011 in the city of Tlaxcala, it accompanied the international tenor Plácido Domingo.

Don't miss the opportunity to see this amazing experience!
