The Ibero-American Documentary Film Festival of Scotland (IberoDocs) is the first showcase of Ibero-American culture in Scotland, which focuses on documentaries by Spanish, Portuguese and particularly Latin American filmmakers. IberoDocs, returns with its fourth edition from 10 to 14 May, this time, breaking the limits of language and geography to offer a unique and comprehensive program where Spain, Portugal and Latin America stand out highly, but also with the participation of another 15 award-winning films, covering a total of 11 countries and 10 different languages. The program covers five themes: social and political Activism, Empowerment of Women, awareness of well-being and Care, inspirational documentaries by renowned directors who have travelled to other countries to captured different cultures gathered in the “Outside Gaze”, and Cinematographic Pieces that seek to arouse public curiosity about the cinema itself. |

Mexico will feature the film Aqui Sigo (Still Here) directed by the Mexican Lorenzo Hagerman, who has worked extensively as photography director in some well-known productions such as HELI (Amat Escalante, Best Director, Cannes) and WAY HOME by Rebeca Cammisa, which was nominated for an Oscar for Best Feature Documentary in 2010. In recent years Hagerman has produced, edited and directed several documentary projects that have earned him various awards, such as the Honorary Jury Prize at DocumentaMadrid and the award Pantalla de Cristal in Mexico among others. Still Here, presents an intimate journey around the world where we discover what is the existence from the perspective of those who are more than ninety years old, stories of ordinary people who for almost a century have loved, laughed, sung and suffered; declaring the world and themselves "still here".
