Faces in the Crowd/ Los Ingrávidos – The Gate Theatre 40th Anniversary Season
With the support of AMEXCID and the Mexican Embassy in the UK, The Gate Theatre (Notting Hill) is presenting a brand-new adaptation of the novel "Los ingrávidos", by the award-winning Mexican writer Valeria Luiselli, as the centrepiece of the theatre’s 40th Anniversary season.
Based on Valeria Luiselli’s award-winning internationally acclaimed novel, “Faces In The Crowd / Los Ingrávidos” beautifully intertwines three narratives in unexpected ways. Pushing the boundaries of storytelling, this dizzying, fluid and haunting adaptation explores whether our identities are more permeable than we imagine.
Directed by the Gate Theatre's Artistic Director, Ellen McDougall, the 5 member cast includes London-based Mexican actors Jimena Larraguivel and Juan-Leonardo Solari.
