Katiushka Borges, originary from Venezuela and resident in the UK since 17 years ago, has dedicated her work doing interactive multimedia, connecting art, love and technology, to improve communication in relationships. Borges’ method appeals to ancestral rituals from Mexican, Amazonic, Celtic, Scandinavian and Native American cultures to develop her practices. |

Multisensory Installation is Borges’ proposal for her Mexican scholarship supported by the Mexican government —the Mexican Agency for International Development Co-operation (AMEXCID, by its Spanish acronym) of the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs— and RAXALAJ (Center of Mayan Art and Philosophy). The project is an interactive multisensory experience in which Borges seeks to embody the oral tradition of Mexican culture in order to inspire new generations to value ancestral wisdom through different media. |
