Nortec Collective is a musical collaboration formed in 1999 in the city of Tijuana, Baja California (Mexico). It is currently composed by two members, Bostich and Fusible, who also work in solo projects. They collaborate with each other by combining innovatively contemporary sounds of electronic music with different traditional sounds genres of the North part of the country, as Tambora and Banda. Nortec has been very well received by the international music scene. The collective has participated in numerous festivals sharing the stage with artists like Beck, Lenny Kravitz, Kronos Quartet and Ennio Morricone. Among their awards, Bostich and Fusible had received several nominations for the Grammy Awards. This year, Nortec Collective presents at the Glastonbury Festival 2016. Glastonbury is the largest festival of its kind in the world. The programme includes a variety of musical artists, both renowned and new talents, and also a variety of cultural performances that conjoined dance, theatre, circus, comedy, and cabaret.
