Yuri Herrera

Author of novels like, “Trabajos de un Reino”, for which he was distinguished with the award “Premio Binacional de Novela Border of Words” and named as one of the most promising Latin American writers and Signs Preceding the End of the World, novel that has positioned Herrera as one of most relevant young writers in Spanish literature.

Yuri Herrera has published short stories, articles and essays at El Financiero, Etcétera (México), La Voz (Argentina), Border Senses, Rio Grande Review (El Paso, Texas) and Lucero (Berkeley, California), among other publications.

Valeria Luiselli

Valeria was born in Mexico City and she is the author of the essay book Sidewalks (in Spanish, Papeles Falsos) (2010) and the novels like Faces in the Crowd (in Spanish, Los ingravidos) (2011) and The Story of My Teeth (in Spanish, La historia de mis dientes) (2014).

Her novels and essays have been widely translated in to many languages and her work has been published in important publications including Letras Libres, The New York Times, and Dazed & Confused. The German critics has called her the new revelation of the Latin-American letters.

 Álvaro Enrigue

Álvaro Enrigue was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. He has taught at New York University, Princeton University, the University of Maryland and Columbia University.

Álvaro Enrigue will present his latest novel Sudden Death in the UK, novel that has been awarded the prestigious Herralde Prize in Spain and the Elena Poniatowska Ibero-American Novel Award in Mexico. Sudden Death is the first of his novels that has been translated into English, and it’s had an incredible reception in the US with phenomenal praise from the New York Times, Vogue, VICE and Enrique Vila-Matas, amongst others.
