Since 2005, is a member of the Hague Convention of October 5, 1961, that abolished the requirement of legalization of foreign public documents.
Apostille is acceptable in all member-countries of the Convention.

Indian documents cannot be legalized by the Embassy of Mexico since both countries are member of the Hague Convention of October 5, 1961
Bangladesh, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka
Documents from the above-mentioned countries that need to be use in Mexico must be legalized by the Consular Section in New Delhi, India.
Requirements:
1.- Original Document, attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Issuing country and by their Embassy/ High Commission in New Delhi.
2.- Authority Letter (original) of the document’s owner
2.- ID of the person signing the authority letter and representative (copy)
3.- Legalization fee of 51.00 USD payable in INR at the exchange rate provided by the Embassy
Procedure:

- On the appointment date submit the complete requirements.
- Document will be ready to pick up the next office day at the indicated time.
