Check if you have one of the visas that allows you to travel to Mexico without a Mexican visa.



Holders of any valid U.S.A., Canada, Japan, United Kingdom, Schengen visas (any nationality) or permanent residence of U.S.A., Canada, Japan, United Kingdom, Schengen, Pacific Alliance (Colombia, Peru, Chile) DO NOT require a Mexican visa to travel on business, tourism, or transit purpose for less than 180 days as long as they present any of the mentioned documents at the point of entry.


Be informed that there is no visa on arrival, the permission to entry (if granted) will be based on the visa you already have. Note that those visas can be used only if the person is travelling for business, tourism, or transit purpose for or less than 180 days only.    


Immigration authorities keep the right to grant or deny entry to the country. Officials can request information regarding the purpose and length of your trip, as well as the means to cover your expenses while you stay in the country.  

Please note that Mexico does not have any restrictions for foreigners to travel to its territory if they have the proper documents to travel.

Regarding FMM

the FMM is not a Mexican visa, it is the immigration form that every foreigner entering Mexico must present to the immigration authorities, along with a valid passport and visa (when applicable). The form can be obtained in the following government link or directly at the time of arrival.
