Countries and regions that require a visa to travel to Mexico

Countries and regions that do not require a visa to travel to Mexico

The Mexican visa gives you the possibility to travel to the country. It does not guarantee entry into the national territory.

At the point of entry, the immigration authorities may ask questions to confirm the reasons for your trip, your length of stay in Mexico, and how your expenses will be covered during your stay. In this document you will find some of the questions. See Document

All transactions and services offered by the Consular Section are of an individual and personal nature exclusively for the applicant (the person concerned). No transactions are made through managers or intermediaries.

Mi consulado

Is an appointment service for transactions at Mexican Embassies and Consulates abroad.

To make an appointment online is easy. Just sign up with an email account on the Mi consulado page.

Note: When registering an appointment, the user must choose the correct sending type, otherwise your appointment will be canceled. All data recorded on the platform will be corroborated.

The Mexican consular offices are the only competent bodies to process, authorize and issue visas; the only migratory documents that attest to a condition of stay in the country are issued by the National Migration Institute (INM)
