DIPLOMATIC OR OFFICIAL VISAS
Kinldy review the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Mexico web site, to verify the regime of non-ordinary visas.
For diplomatic, official or service passport holders who require visa, bellow the requirements:
- Note verbal addressed to the Embassy of Mexico in Ghana.
- Original and one copy of the diplomatic, official or service passport or laissez-passer.
- Complete the visa form.
- One passport size photograph (size 1.5 x 1.3/4 inches OR 32.0 millimeters x 26 millimeters and at most 39.0 millimeters x 31.0 millimeters), in color, no glasses, uncovered face and white background with a neutral facial expression.
Please note the following:
• There is no visa processing fee, thus the visa is GRATIS.
• One can be exempted from personally coming to the Embassy, an appointed representative by the respective Embassy/Ministry in Ghana, can carry out the visa process on one´s behalf.

Visitors with an employment offer or relatives in Mexico and official authorization from the Mexican Immigration Institute (INM).
The length of stay in Mexico is up to 180 days.

- Once the visa is issued, the applicant must change it at the Mexican Immigration Institute in order to obtain the proper residence card.
- The temporary condition is for a length between 180 days and 4 years.

- Original and copy of the passport, the information must be the same than in the official authorization from the INM.
- The Application form will be given to you to fill at the Embassy on the day you submit your documents.

- Original and copy of the document proving legal residence (visa and / or resident card), applicable to foreigners who are not nationals of the country where the visa application is to be submitted.
- Copy of the official document with the authorization from the INM.
- Pay the required fee according to the type of visa.
- In case of authorization, the applicant must also cover the aditional fee of this type of visa.

- Original and copy of the document proving legal residence (visa and / or resident card), applicable to foreigners who are not nationals of the country where the visa application is to be submitted.
- Complete the required fee (the deposit slip will be given at the Embassy on the date of your appointment).
- Present the documents that support your case regarding one of the following options:
STUDIES
- Original and copy of admission letter from an institution belonging to the National Educational System to take courses WITH ALL the following information:
- Full name of the interested party.
- Level, degree, and area of study that will be pursued.
- Name of the course to which the applicant has been accepted.
- Start and end dates of the course.
- School fees.
- Contact data for the educational institution.
- Proof of economic solvency to cover the cost of enrolment, food, and accommodation during the applicant’s stay in national territory, which could be:
- Original and (1) photocopy of documents showing that the applicant has employment, pension or scholarship, with the monthly income clearly stated. These documents must be from the last three months prior to the visa application, or
- Original and (1) photocopy of bank statements from the last three months.
Solvency may be proven by the applicant or by his/her parents or guardians, husband/wife as long as the applicant is not over the age of 25, or by a letter form the educational institution stating that the applicant has been awarded a scholarship
Long-term (Business/Mexican Family)

A) ECONOMIC SOLVENCY

Last three months' bank statements ink signed and stamped by the bank

Employment letter/H.R. letter addressed to the Embassy of Mexico, issued on letterhead paper and stating the applicant’s position, period of employment, monthly and annual salary, the company’s contact details, and the name and position of the person that signs. (it is not accepted signed by the applicant). Include photocopy of ID of the person who signs the letter with visible signature. The letter must be signed in ink. Scanned image or PDF versions will not be accepted.

Salary pay slips for the last three months duly stamped and ink signed and with all the applicant’s information. (it is not accepted signed by the applicant).

For economic dependents (wife, children under 25 years old), documents that proves the family relation.
B) FRECUENT TRAVELER

Valid visas issued by at least three different countries (not from border countries).
C) PROMINENT PERSON

Letter from the applicant requesting the visa as well as proof of the activity performed or expertise certificate/resume.
D) MEXICAN RELATIVE

Spouse or common-law partner: marriage certificate or common law certificate or equivalent (original and one copy). Son/daughter, birth certificate (original and one copy). Parents (minor) birth certificate of the applicant (original and one copy). Brother/sister (minor) birth certificate from both, the applicant’s and the Mexican brother/sister (original and one copy).

E) TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT RESIDENT RELATIVE

Spouse or common-law partner: marriage certificate or common law certificate or equivalent (original and one copy. Son/daughter, birth certificate (original and one copy). Parents (minor) birth certificate of the applicant (original and one copy). Brother/sister (minor) birth certificate from both, the applicant’s and the Mexican brother/sister (original and one copy).

F) DIPLOMAT RELATIVE, ORDINARY PASSPORT HOLDER

Spouse or common-law partner: marriage certificate or common law certificate or equivalent (original and one copy). Son/daughter, birth certificate (original and one copy). Parents (minor) birth certificate of the applicant (original). Brother/sister (minor) birth certificate from both, the applicant’s and the Mexican brother/sister (original and one copy).

Copy of the accreditation card.
G) COMPANY SUPERVISOR

Deed or policy from the corporation signed before a Commissioner of Oaths, or a document duly certified by the administrative body or a competent officer thereof, proving legal constitution of the business.

Letter from the company specifying the applicant’s post and the company’s commitment to cover travel expenses.

INVESTMENTS
- Original and 1 copy of the official document granted by a Notary Public, or competent official that proves that the applicant is an investor in Mexico.
- Original and 1 copy of official document that proves the applicant owns properties in Mexico.
- Original and 1 copy of official document that proves the applicant is an employer in Mexico, certified by the Mexican Social Security Institute.
