VISAS
The reception of visa applications is done by appointment, which can be scheduled by calling the Consular Section from Monday through Friday between 9:00 and 13:00 hours (+90-312-442-3033 ext. 121) or through e-mail (Esta dirección de correo electrónico está siendo protegida contra los robots de spam. TYPES OF VISAS
ELECTRONIC VISA
Holders of Turkish ordinary (red) passports may travel to Mexico using an e-visa. This kind of visa is obtained on-line, without paying any fee on the following website:

VISITOR VISA WITHOUT PERMISSION TO DO REMUNERATIVE ACTIVITIES (TOURISM/BUSINESS VISA)
Requirements:
- Passport valid for at least six months.
- Application form duly filled. (printed in one page, double sided)
- One recent visa size photograph (4.5 CM X 3.5 CM), white background, without glasses. (Photos wearing headscarf are admitted only if the applicant appears veiled in her passport)
- Cover letter given by your company indicating the date in which you started to work and your functions.
- Payslips (last 3 months))
- Personal bank account statements (last 3 months).
- Photocopy of the passport (first and last page).
- Visa fee (36 USD)
Invitations:
In case the applicant obtains an invitation letter issued by a Mexican public or private institution, it must present the following information:
I. Complete name of the person (same as in the passport) and nationality.
II. Official Registry or Denomination of the organization. (Razón Social de la organización o institución)
III. Number of the official registry, if it corresponds to the organization.
IV. Mission/objective of the organization or institution (private or public).
V. Complete address and contact information of the organization or institution.
VI. Information of the activity or project that the guest is doing in the organization.
VII. Estimated duration of the activity that the guest will undertake.
VIII. The letter will have to mention explicitly the commitment of the organization or institution to cover all expenses of the person invited during his/her stay in Mexico and the commitment of his return to his/her country of residence.
IX. Copy of an official identification with signature and photography of the person that will sign this letter.
Original and photocopy of bank statements or investment proofs of the organization or institution (last 12 months).
NOTES
- All documents submitted must reflect complete name as shown in passport.
- Personal presence of the applicant is mandatory for biometric process and interview.
- The visas are granted on the same day, if the applicant fulfils all the visa requirements.
- Having a Mexican visa gives the possibility to travel to the country, but the entry to Mexican territory is subject to the final decision of the Immigration and Health Authorities.
- The Consular Section may request further documentation, depending on the specifics of each case.
- Invitation letters from individuals are not accepted.
STUDENT VISA
Those who intend to stay in Mexico more than 6 months to study need a student visa.
Requirements:
- Passport valid for at least six months.
- Application form duly filled (printed in one page, double sided).
- One recent visa size photograph (4.5 CM X 3.5 CM), white background, without glasses. (Photos wearing headscarf are admitted only if the applicant appears veiled in her passport)
- Original Letter of acceptance from the institution where the applicant intends to study (must include: Student's name, degree and area of study that will be pursued, name of the course, start and end dates of the course, cost of school fees, school's contact information In the case that the student received a scholarship for his/her studies, it should be indicated in the letter.

- Letter from the student's parent, sponsor or legal guardian certifying that he/she will pay all the expenses and round trip. This document must be notarized and authenticated.
- Bank statement from the student’s parent, sponsor or legal guardian (last 3 months).
- Income Tax Return from the student’s parent, sponsor or legal guardian (1 year).
- Photocopy of the passport (first and last page).
- Visa Fee (36 USD)

TEMPORARY RESIDENCE WITHOUT PERMISSION TO DO REMUNERATIVE ACTIVITIES
Applicable to foreigners who intend to enter Mexico in order to remain for more than 180 days and not more than four years without earning any remuneration in the country.
Requirements:
- Passport valid for at least six months.
- Application form duly filled (Printed in one page, double sided).
- One recent visa size photograph (4.5 CM X 3.5 CM), white background, without glasses. (Photos wearing headscarf are admitted only if the applicant appears veiled in her passport)
- Original cover letter given by your company indicating the length of your trip.
- Original letter of invitation from the Mexican organization (public or private) who invites a person to participate in an activity without earning any remuneration in the country.
- This letter must contain the following details:
- Complete name of the person (same as in the passport) and nationality.
- Official Registry or Denomination of the organization. (Razón Social de la organización o institución)
- Number of the official registry, if it corresponds to the organization.
- Mission/objective of the organization or institution (private or public).
- Complete address and contact information of the organization or institution.
- Information of the activity or project that the guest is doing in the organization.
- Estimated duration of the activity that the guest will undertake.
- The letter will have to explicitly mention the commitment of the organization or institution to cover all expenses of the person invited during his/her stay in Mexico and the commitment of his return to his/her country of residence.
- Copy of an official identification with signature and photography of the person that will sign this letter.
- Original and photocopy of bank statements or investment proofs of the organization or institution in Mexico (last 12 months)
- A document attesting that the applicant has the experience to carry out the activity for which he is invited (example: original degree or educational certificate).
- Personal Bank Statement (last 3 months).
- Pay slips (last 3 months).
- Photocopy of the passport (first and last page)
- Visa fee (36 USD)
