The talented Mexican guitarist, Morgan Szymanski, will perform alongside the internationally renowned British tenor, Mark Padmore, at the BBC live from the Wigmore Hall concert series in London. Having hosted performances of some of the greatest classical musicians and being distinguished for its fine acoustics, Wigmore Hall is known as one of the most prestigious concerns halls internationally.

The program will include songs from the great Elizabethan composer John Dowland, a contemporary of Shakespeare, and the series “My Lute and I” by British composer, Alec Roth, inspired by the poetry of Thomas Wyatt, dedicated to Padmore and Szymanski.

The duet will conclude their performance with a new commission from the BBC “Eden Rock” from Welsh composer Stephen McNeff, which is inspired by the poetry of Charles Causley.

The concert can be listened to live at BBC Radio 3 and the duet will appear in an interview with “In Tune”, on the same radio station, on Tuesday the 6th of September at 6 pm.
