Terms and conditions
1rst Stage: How to enter?
- Anyone in the UK can participate (you do not need to be an established artist).
- Works may be submitted in any artistic or technical medium.
- The open call will run from 7 April to 8 May 2026.
2nd Stage: Artwork reception
- The organizing committee will select the works to be exhibited and will inform their authors of this decision by email on 15 May 2026.

- The works will be received at the Residence of Mexico in the United Kingdom (8 Halkin St, London, SW1X 7DT), by appointment.
3rd Stage: Selection and exhibition of Works
- Selected works will be exhibited for specific events only, TBD.
- After the last event, all participants will be informed by email of the dates and times for the collection of their works, which will take place at 8 Halkin Street, London SW1X 7DT.
- An appointment is required, as the Embassy of Mexico cannot guarantee staff availability for the collection of works without prior confirmation.
- The deadline for the collection of works is fixed. The Embassy of Mexico cannot guarantee the safekeeping of works, so artists are required to collect their works within the established timeframe.
Terms and conditions
- The call for entries is open to artists residing in the United Kingdom.
- The Embassy of Mexico will provide the space and organizational support for the exhibition. Participation is voluntary and non-lucrative; no financial compensation will be provided.
- The Embassy will not assume any costs incurred by participating artists.
- All information regarding participation forms part of these terms and conditions. By submitting a registration, participants are deemed to have accepted them.
- Entries must be submitted by 8 May 2026 at 15:59 London time (GMT + 0).
- All entries submitted for participation must be an original creation of the persons submitting them.
- The entry must not be defamatory, obscene, or in violation of any regulation or legislation.
- All entrants must register with their name, postal address, telephone number, email address, and agree to the terms and conditions.
- The artworks selected to be exhibited will be chosen by an organizing committee established by the Embassy, which reserves the right to add or substitute any of the pieces without prior notification.
- By submitting the form, participants declare that they own the rights of the artwork they’re presenting. The participants consent to the use of their name and artwork to be featured in advertisements, educational material or publicity carried out by the Embassy on its website, social media channels and newsletters without prior notification or compensation. The Embassy may publish or not publish, use or not use, any artwork submitted while the participant retains all ownership rights as well as the rights to publish or use their entries.
- Participants are responsible for all costs associated with the transport of their artwork and, where applicable, their own travel. The Embassy of Mexico shall not be liable for any damage to or loss of artworks at any stage of the open call.
- The decision of the Embassy of Mexico and the organizing committee is final and not subject to appeal.
- The Embassy of Mexico shall not be liable for any artworks that are damaged, lost, mishandled, incomplete, or delivered through unauthorised means, and reserves the right to reject any works that do not comply with the terms of the open call. The Embassy shall not be responsible for any technical issues that prevent the submission of applications.
- Personal contact details collected by the Embassy of Mexico will be used solely for the purposes specified in these terms and conditions.
- The Embassy of Mexico reserves the right to modify, cancel, or suspend the exhibition in the event of unforeseen circumstances, without prior notice.
- Participants must comply with these terms and conditions and shall be deemed to have accepted and understood them by participating.
