This summer, the Mexican Tenor Joel Montero Mena is making a comeback to the stages of London to perform alongside with the prestigious company “Opera Holland Park” the opera “Zazá”, written by the great composer and librettist Ruggero Leoncavallo.

This is the third invitation to the tenor to participate in the company´s summer festival as a result of the success obtained in its two previous participations, particularly in 2015 with his interpretation in L'amore dei tre.

Zazá is a long-awaited addition for this prestigious company and is part of its traditional romantic Italian operas, accompanied by an enriching orchestra ensemble and evocative dance styles. The opera follows the life of Parisian music hall singer, Zazà: her career, her eccentric friends and her passionate love affair with Milio, played by the Mexican tenor.

The opera promises not only an intriguing and highly moving story, but also a magnificent lyric interpretation to the senses. An exceptional piece of its kind not to be missed.
