Ladies and gentlemen, Drodzy przyjaciele,
Thank you very much for joining us this afternoon despite the weather conditions.
Tonight, is a special night, we celebrate the partnership between Chile, Colombia, México and Perú, also known as the Pacific Alliance. But we also celebrate friendship and even more, we celebrate our fraternity.
The Pacific Alliance is a strategic, political, and economic platform of regional integration. It is also the eighth largest economy and the sixth largest exporter in the world. It represents 43% of the Gross Domestic Product in Latin America and the Caribbean.
On January 26, Mexico assumed the pro tempore presidency of the Pacific Alliance. Some of the main issues promoted during this presidency were the post-pandemic recovery, with particular emphasis on the support of the most disadvantaged and the promotion of gender equality, especially the inclusion of women in the labor market.
In the context of the Pacific Alliance relations with Poland, I am certain we will continue working with the Polish government to strengthen our relations even more by promoting specific projects of mutual interest.
Together, the Embassies of the Pacific Alliance, have prepare for you tonight a special concert with an extraordinary soprano singer, Alejandrina Vázquez, and a great pianist Adam Mikołaj Goździewski who will delight us with Mexican, Peruvian, Chilean, and Colombian songs.
I invite you to enjoy the splendor of the countries of the Pacific Alliance, to let the emotions that only music can give, touch your soul and to rejoice in the culinary delights offered by these 4 countries.
Thanks to Museum of Vodka, to the General Manager Andrzej Szumowski, a Polish who is almost Mexican now, and his wonderful team for this unforgettable night.
