■ Mexican Visa for Tourist, Business, Transit ■

This type of visa is not applicable for people who has Japanese nationality.

Requirements

1. Passport (original and copy)

2. A valid (non-expired) Visa or Zairyu card.

3. Application form

4. A color picture (3cm ×4cm, white back ground (white as paper, light blue or gray are not acceptable), without glasses, front view (Please make sure that any hair is not covering your forehead.)

5. Please submit one of following document A, B or C.

A) Bank book

Please turn in your original bank book with its copy and a translation in Spanish or English. Translation of Bank balance (Example) 

You need to prove that your average monthly balance is more than 30,804 Mexican pesos for last 3 months. (The month that you apply for the visa is not counted in the 3 months.) If you don’t have a bank book, you need to obtain the original bank statement with bank seal.

*How to calculate your average balance.
For example, if you have 4 registered balances in a month, you need to put the amount as below.
{(First balance) + (Second balance) + (Third balance) + (Forth balance)} ÷ 4=Average balance of the month

B) Certificate of income

Which proves that you receive more than 10,268 Mexican pesos each month for last 3 months and also you need to turn in a certificate of employment which proves that you have been working in the company for more than a year. If you don’t have experience in the company more than a year, you cannot submit document B. Monthly payslips are not acceptable.

*The certificate must include the signature of the person in charge and the company seal.
*If the document doesn't contain the company seal, the photocopy of identification (passport) of the signer is also required.
*The month that you apply for the visa is not counted in the 3 months

C) Certificate of scholarship

You need to prove that you receive more than 6,160.80 Mexican pesos each month for last 3 months and also you need to turn in certificate of enrollment from your school.
*You can turn in this document only when you study in University or graduate school. In case that you study in any language school or vocational college, it wouldn’t be applied.
*The month that you apply for the visa is not counted in the 3 months
6. Travel itinerary

7. Application fee (We only accept Japanese yen. The fee depends on exchange rate.)

-You need to submit all the documents in original and a copy.
-Any hand writing document is not acceptable.
-All the document written in Japanese need to be attached with a translation in Spanish or English.
-Even if you will submit the document B or C for proof of economic solvency, if you have a bank book,
we recommend you to bring it.
-The Mexican Consular Section has the right to request more documents if needed.
