Presentation of Credentials by the Ambassador of Mexico to Malta, Genaro Lozano

Today, the Ambassador of Mexico, Genaro Lozano, presented his letters of credence to the President of the Republic of Malta, Myriam Spiteri Debono, accrediting him as non-resident Ambassador to that country.

Ambassador Lozano conveyed warm greetings from the people of Mexico and from the President of the United Mexican States, Claudia Sheinbaum, who is a member of the Council of Women World Leaders, an invitation extended to her by the President of Malta.

Ambassador Lozano expressed his gratitude to President Spiteri Debono for the warm welcome, underscoring the excellent bilateral relations between Mexico and Malta and reaffirming the Embassy’s full commitment to cooperation across all areas of the bilateral agenda.

In this context, he highlighted that 2025 marked the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mexico and Malta, a milestone that underscores the enduring strength and continuity of bilateral ties.
