Appointments

As of March 2022, the only way to obtain an appointment to carry out procedures at the Consular Section is through the MI CONSULADO platform (https://citas.sre.gob.mx/).

To schedule an appointment, please follow the steps below:

Log in to https://citas.sre.gob.mx/ to create an account.

Save your username and password. This information will be used to log in to the platform and select from available dates.

Periodically visit the website to access the appointment calendars.

Please note that if no appointments have yet been scheduled for the date of your interest, the system will display "No office found". If due to the high volume of applications received there are no more appointments available or all appointments have been taken, the system will not let you move forward showing "No office found". In such cases, we regret the inconvenience and invite you to stay tuned for the next calendar opening. Alternatively, you can wait for appointments to be released due to eventual cancellations. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Please note that each visa applicant must schedule his/her own appointment. However, a member of the same family may schedule a single appointment for the rest of the family as long as they are: a) minor children or b) spouses. In any other case (siblings, in-laws) it is not possible to receive more than one person using the same appointment and the application cannot be accepted.
