"Murales" classical guitar concert, Tallinn

Se llevó a cabo en el prestigioso “Palacio Kadriorg” de la ciudad de Tallin, Estonia, el concierto “Murales”, a cargo del guitarrista clásico mexicano Eduardo Rodríguez, quien interpretó piezas de los compositores iberoamericanos contemporáneos Jean Angelus Pichardo (México), Feliu Gasull (España), Jorge Morel, Máximo Diego Pujol y Quique Sinesi (Argentina).
El concierto giró en torno al muralismo mexicano, movimiento artístico que inspiró al compositor Jean Angelus Pichardo para escribir una pieza de guitarra clásica en especial para Eduardo Rodríguez. El espectáculo comenzó con una presentación sobre el significado de los murales de Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros y José Clemente Orozco para la historia y el nacionalismo mexicano.
Esta actividad fue realizada en colaboración con el Museo de Arte Kadriorg y la ONG Loovüksus, en el marco del Iberofest Estonia.
As part of the “Murals” concert that took place at the prestigious Kadriorg Palace, Mexican classical guitarist Eduardo Rodríguez performed pieces by contemporary Ibero-American composers such as Jean Angelus Pichardo (Mexico), Feliu Gasull (Spain), Jorge Morel, Máximo Diego Pujol and Quique Sinesi (Argentina) at the prestigious cultural center and museum of Kadriorg in Tallinn, Estonia.
The concert title derives from the Mexican muralism artistic movement that inspired composer Jean Angelus Pichardo to write a classical guitar piece, especially for Eduardo Rodríguez. Therefore, the event began with a brief presentation by the aforementioned guitarist on the significance of the murals created by Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros and José Clemente Orozco in the history of Mexico and Mexican nationalism.
The event was organized with the Kadriorg Art Museum and the NGO Loovüksus, within the framework of the Iberofest Estonia.
