Arrival to Mexico of international tourists |

In January-November 2022, it was reported the arrival of 34 million 700 thousand international tourists, that is 5 million 888 thousand more visitors compared to the same period of 2021, and represented an increase of 20.9%. |

From January to November 2022, the arrival by air of residents of the United States stands out with 11.7 million, followed by Canada with 1.5 million, Colombia with 787,000, the United Kingdom with 523,000 and Spain with 335,000. The remaining nationalities accounted for 3 million 642 thousand, 67.9% more than in 2021. |

Main Airports of Arrival November 2022
During the period January-November 2022, the Mexican airports that received the highest number of international visitors were: Cancun (8,566,976); Mexico City (3,805,421); Los Cabos (1,944,351); Puerto Vallarta (1,474,808); Guadalajara (1,044,819); Monterrey (231,065); Cozumel (217,317) and Silao (181,144). |

Departures of International Tourists from Mexico November 2022 |

In the period January - November 2022, INEGI reported the departure of 12 million 980 thousand international tourists from Mexico abroad, which meant 2 million 663 thousand more tourists than those reported in the same period 2021, equivalent to an increase of 25.8%. |
