Before scheduling an appointment, please read the following information carefully.

Citizens from the countries listed in the below link -including the Philippines- need to apply for a visa to travel to Mexico for tourism, transit, business or any non-remunerated activity for a period not longer than 180 days.

List of countries that require a visa to travel to Mexico.

Exceptions:

The foreigner who holds any of the following documents does not need a Mexican visa to travel on business, tourism, transit or any non-remunerated activity for less than 180 days:

   a)   Permanent residence in Canada, the United States of America, Japan, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, any of the countries comprising the Schengen Area, or in the countries of the Pacific Alliance (Chile, Colombia and Peru).

    b)    Valid multiple entry visa from Canada, the United States of America, Japan, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland or any of the countries comprising the Schengen Area, as long as the visa is valid during the entire stay in Mexico.

    c)    APEC Business Traveler Card (ABTC) approved by Mexico.

   d)   Seafarer’s book, if you are a member of the crew of the vessel that arrives at a Mexican port on an international voyage. If the crew member arrives by air to enroll in a ship docked in a Mexican port, she/he must present, in addition to the seafarer’s book and a valid passport, a document that proves her/his enrollment in the ship, the vessel’s information and the Mexican port in which it is located.

Even these exceptions are widely known by the airlines, it is highly suggested that, well in advance, you check with the airline on which you will be travelling whether you will be allowed to board by presenting any of the aforementioned documents.

If you are not in the above exceptions, you will need to apply for a visa to travel to Mexico.

In all cases, the Mexican migratory authorities have the faculty to grant or deny the entry into Mexico.
