Applicable to foreign persons with extensive economic solvency, frequent travelers, prominent persons, spouse, common-law partner or equivalent figure of Mexican or temporary resident or permanent resident, family member of temporary resident or permanent resident, or diplomatic or consular official accredited in Mexico and supervisors of a foreign company with a subsidiary in national territory or executive personnel of subsidiaries or commercial offices of Mexican companies in the who wish to enter Mexico as a visitor without permission to carry out remunerated activities and who do not intend to reside in national territory.

Requirements:

1. Passport or identity and travel document that is valid in accordance with international law and in force, in original.

2. Original of the document that proves their legal stay, if the foreigner is not a national of the country where they are applying for the visa.

3. Submit the documents that prove any of the following cases:

  • Economic solvency.
  • Frequent Traveler.
  • Prominent person.
  • Relative of a Mexican.
  • Family member of a temporary resident or permanent resident foreigner.
  • Family member of a diplomatic or consular official accredited in Mexico holding an ordinary passport.
  • Supervisor of a foreign company with a subsidiary in national territory or executive personnel of commercial offices or Mexican companies abroad.

Payment of duties:

For the receipt, application and, if applicable, authorization of the visa, the amount of 53.00 USD must be paid, in cash and in an exact amount.

Once you meet the requirements to apply for your visa, you must schedule an appointment through the "MiConsulado" portal https://www.miconsulado.sre.gob.mx/ or https://www.miconsulado.sre.gob.mx/citas-consulares.

Important information: Having a visa does not guarantee entry to national territory. It only allows the foreigner to present himself at the point of entry to apply for entry into the country.

Entry or entry into Mexico is conditional on the approval of the health and immigration authorities at the points of entry into the country, known as immigration filters, who may at any time conduct an interview about the reason for their trip and verify the requirements established in the applicable legal provisions (Article 37 of the Migration Law and 60 of its Regulations).
