Requirements:
1. Visa application (one for each traveler)
Visa Application Form
· Duly completed in English or Spanish (Latin characters) and signed by the applicant. The email to apply for a visa must be addressed by the interested party, not by a third party.
2. Passport
· It must be valid for at least six months from the estimated date of entry into Mexico.
· Good quality photocopies of pages containing the following personal data:
o Passport number, signature, validity period or renewals.
o Original and photocopies of previous passports, visas, and entry stamps.
3. Visa application fee : Consular fees.
· PAYMENT IS NON-REFUNDABLE regardless of the visa application result.
· Payment is in cash, ONLY IN US DOLLARS, on the day of the interview with banknotes in good condition issued after 2007.
4. One recent color photograph (no older than 30 days)
· Size: 3.5 x 2.5 cm, white background, NO DIGITAL RETOUCHING (NO PHOTOSHOP).
· The face must be uncovered, without glasses or any type of ornament.
5. Original of the letter of responsibility from a company, organization or a public or private institution that invites the foreigner to participate in an event or unpaid activity in national territory.
The letter must contain the following information:
· Applicant's full name and nationality;
· Name or corporate name of the organization;
· Official registration number, as applicable;
· Purpose of the private or public organization or institution;
· Full address and contact details of the organization or institution;
· Information about the activity to be carried out or the project in which the foreign person will participate. The activity of the foreign person must be related to the purposes of the organization or institution that invites;
· Estimated duration or approximate date of completion of the activity to be performed;
· The commitment to take care of the maintenance of the foreign person during his stay in Mexico and his return to his country of origin or residence, and
· Copy of official identification with signature and photograph of the person who signs the letter of responsibility.
6. The letter mentioned above MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY original and copy of cover sheets of bank statements or proof of investments DURING THE LAST TWELVE (12) MONTHS of the company, organization or private institution that invites.
This is to prove that it has the resources to meet the economic obligation.
Public institutions and private institutions belonging to the National Education System do not need to prove economic solvency.
7. The documents with which the foreigner certifies that he or she has the experience, capacity, skills or knowledge necessary to carry out the activity for which he or she is invited, in original and copy.
8. All the following documents in original and photocopies:
a) Bank statements for the last six (6) months AND a letter specifying the opening date and the overall balance of the account. This documentation must be issued the same month as the interview, signed and stamped by the bank.
b) Employment letter/H.R. letter addressed to the Embassy of Mexico, issued on letterhead paper, stating the applicant's position, period of employment, monthly and annual salary, the company's contact details, and the name and position of the person that signs it. The employment letter must be issued in the same month as the interview.
c) If you have any, original and copy of property deed of the duly registered properties under the name of the applicant with at least two years of ownership and a document attesting the property or participation in businesses, with a minimum of two years issued by competent authorities of the respective country.
d) In the case of business owners: business registration, tax card and a certificate of membership from the Chamber of Commerce.
e) Property titles, if possessed.
f) For economic dependents (spouse, children under 25 years of age), documents proving the family relationship.
It is the applicant's responsibility to submit the COMPLETE requirements on the day of the interview.
IMPORTANT NOTES
The Embassy reserves the right to request further documentation.
- Documents in Arabic, or in a language other than English, must be translated into Spanish by a certified translation office. The original document and a copy must be submitted together with the translation. - The documentation submitted for the visa application will not be returned, regardless of the outcome of the application.
- According to the Mexican Migration Law, the issuance of the visa does not guarantee authorization to enter Mexico: the final decision is subject to the approval of the immigration and health authorities at the point of entry.
