TRANSIT VISA
Starting October 22, 2023, a valid visa will be required to board any flight to Mexico. It is important to note that NO transit visas exist in Mexico. Therefore, if you need a visa to enter Mexican territory and plan to transit through international airports in Mexico, you must obtain a tourist visa, regardless of the duration of your airport transit.

Nationalities exempt from visa requirements:

Individuals with permanent residency in Canada, the United States of America, Japan, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the countries that make up the Schengen Area, and member countries of the Pacific Alliance.

Individuals with valid visas for Canada, the United States of America, Japan, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, or any of the countries that comprise the Schengen Area.
