La dinámica de la economía mundial hace que México busque nuevos mercados y la reestructuración y diversificación de sus transacciones comerciales. En este sentido, Egipto se presenta como una alternativa para ingresar a los mercados de África del noroeste y del Medio Oriente.
En términos económicos, México tiene por objetivo en Egipto promover todas aquellas oportunidades de negocios, atracción de inversiones y vínculos comerciales que se detecten para incrementar las exportaciones mexicanas, coadyuvando a una mejor vinculación regional de las empresas mexicanas, así como continuar defendiendo y apoyando los intereses económicos de las empresas mexicanas en Egipto.
En ese sentido, DataMéxico permite la integración, visualización y análisis de datos públicos para fomentar la innovación, inclusión y diversificación de la economía mexicana.
The dynamics of the global economy drive Mexico to seek new markets and to restructure and diversify its commercial transactions. In this regard, Egypt emerges as an alternative for entering the markets of Northwest Africa and the Middle East.
In economic terms, Mexico's objective in Egypt is to promote all business opportunities, attract investments, and establish commercial ties to increase Mexican exports. This effort aims to facilitate better regional integration of Mexican companies and continue defending and supporting their economic interests in Egypt.
In this context, DataMexico enables the integration, visualization, and analysis of public data to promote innovation, inclusion, and diversification of the Mexican economy.
EXPORTAMX es una herramienta cuyo propósito es orientar las decisiones de exportación de las empresas mexicanas, así como el diseño de políticas de las instituciones de nuestro país con funciones de promoción de exportaciones. ExportaMX forma parte de la nueva estrategia de promoción económica que, en colaboración con la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores, busca promover la economía mexicana de forma estratégica, sustentable, incluyente y por medio del uso de los datos.
EXPORTAMX is a tool aimed at guiding Mexican companies' export decisions and informing the design of policies by institutions in our country with export promotion functions. ExportaMX is part of the new economic promotion strategy, which, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, seeks to strategically promote the Mexican economy in a sustainable, inclusive manner through data.

COMERCIO BILATERAL
De conformidad con la información de la Secretaría de Economía de México, Egipto fue en el año 2020 el cuarto socio comercial de México en África, así como el tercero en Medio Oriente. El comercio total de México y Egipto durante el año 2020 fue de 130 millones de dólares (mdd). Durante el año pasado, México exportó a Egipto 84.68 mdd e importó 45.93 mdd.
