Visas Application Form:

All kind of visas require filling out an Visa Application Form. All issued visas must be picked up personally at this consular section without any exception. The fees applicable to each procedure change every month according to the exchange rate. Please contact the Consular Office to obtain the most updated fee.

Note: If you arrive at the Consular Office without an appointment you may be turned away. An appointment for an interview may only be scheduled through the telephone line appointments cannot be scheduled by email.

•VISA FOR DANISH AND ICELANDIC CITIZENS:

DO NOT REQUIRE VISA if the purpose of their trip is tourism, and if the visitor will stay for a period no longer than 180 days.

However, it is necessary to have:

1 - Valid Passport.

2 - "Tourist Blue Card" or Migration Card (such card can be obtained through the airline you fly with to and from Mexico, or upon

     arrival at the airport). The form must be already filled in before arriving at the migration counters.

•VISA EXEMPTION CONDITIONS: TOURIST VISA HOLDERS OR PERMANENT RESIDENTS IN THE USA, SCHENGEN SPACE, THE UNITED KINGDOM, CANADA OR JAPAN

DO NOT NEED A VISA TO VISIT MEXICO FOR TOURISM FOR UP TO 180 DAYS (TEMPORALITY CAN BE SHORTENED BY IMMIGRATION OFFICIALS ACCORDING TO INTERVIEW UPON ARRIVAL) 

Permanent residents must prove such status to the immigration officer in Mexico at the port of entry by showing the word “Permanent” (ES/EN/FR/IT/PO) stated in their residence permit or an apostilled letter from the immigration authorities of the Schengen country where they reside, stating their status as “Permanent Resident”.

To make an appointment for collection and to get payment details:

NOTE: We advice applicants to submit documents at least 2 weeks prior to intended travel date to Mexico.

Consular Services to the public under appointment only:
