7. Mainmast

We are now at the centre of the ship, also known as the “midships deck.” Here stands the Mainmast, the tallest mast (at 48.9 meters), which has 5 square sails and 3 fore-and-aft sails.

On the port side (left side), there is a plaque with a motto that highlights the ship’s mission: "For the exaltation of the seafaring spirit."

Now, we will continue towards the third mast.
