6. Rigging

The Cuauhtémoc has three types of rigging:

• Running rigging: movable ropes and cables used to handle the sails.
• Standing rigging: fixed ropes and cables that support the masts.
• Transverse rigging: composed of shrouds, backstays, and stays that provide lateral stability.
